(CZ) 13 hodin za volantem na cestě tam a 12 na cestě zpět … nudný začátek a závěr jinak velmi vydařeného víkendu, který zakončil náš soukromý trojboj (tři CACIL závody ve třech zemích během 14 dnů) …
Cílem cesty byl belgický Amermont, kde se konalo finále letošního Club Elite Cupu. Naše Šiš vstupovala do finále z prvního místa s plným počtem bodů. Ze všech nominovaných soupeřů se finále nakonec účastnila jen jedna další fenka.
Tentokrát jsme, mimo jiné, dělali doprovod naší kamarádce Dance, která jela jako rozhodčí (všechna plemena kromě Barzojů). Organizátory závodu známe z našich předešlých návštěv francouzského Laferte a máme je moc rádi, koneckonců něco jsme spolu již popili ;) Osobní pozvání ředitele Paula Colley jsme tudíž nemohli odmítnout a navíc zde probíhalo již zmiňované finále Elite Cup, takže návštěva skoro povinná.
Závod byl organizačně zvládnut zcela bezchybně, je vidět že tento tým lidí již má dlouholetou praxi a zkušenost a je zcela sehraný. Navíc pohostinnost, se kterou nás přijali, byla skoro omračující. Takže za toto skutečně velmi děkujeme!
V těchto krajích je používána tzv. nekonečný zajíc, nekonečná návnada anebo též „uzavřený okruh“. Dozvěděli jsme se, že FCI plánuje zákaz tohoto způsobu tažení návnady z důvodu jeho nebezpečnosti. Naše osobní zkušenost je naopak velmi kladná. Byli jsme na 4 závodech, kde je tento způsob tažení používán. Nesetkali jsme se ani s jediným zraněním, které by bylo zapříčiněno způsobem tažení návnady.
Teď již k samotnému závodu … Postavená trať byla velmi technického charakteru a nebylo zde mnoho prostoru pro rychlost. Díky rozdělení plemen do dní, nastupovali Barzojové v sobotu hned jako první plemeno. Celkově bylo na startu 13 jedinců (9 fen a 4 psi). Do prvního kola proběhlo nasazení dle abecedy a do druhého pak dle průběžného pořadí jako mix. Z našich holek šla na start jako první Bri a za soupeřku měla již starší, ale výbornou fenku – UDACHU (maj. - C. Kolbasin). Jejich běh se mi líbil a vzhledem k tomu, co je schopná Bri předvést, jsem byl nadšen. Následně šla na start Kališ, která měla za soupeřku fenku českého původu – BOLODENKA OD PODHORNIHO VRCHU(maj. – Erich & Barbara STEIDL-JANSEN). Tato fenka mě překvapila svojí rychlostí! Naše Kališ se snažila pracovat na kladkách, ale když zjistila, že soupeřka jí prostě uteče bez větší snahy o práci, tak za ní začala utíkat též a tento běh pak vypadal spíše jako dostih J A jako poslední z našich šla na start Šiš proti – BELAIA DE L’HERMITAGE D’EOLE (maj. – P. & I. Nevers-Riche). Předvedla naprosto bezchybnou práci na kladkách a soupeřce nedala šanci cokoli předvést. Toto bylo nakonec posouzeno jako nejlepší běh prvního kola a Šiš ohodnocena jako nejlepší pes prvního kola!
Z druhého kola jen krátce … Šiš nasazena jako průběžně první dostala jako soupeře mladého (osmnáct měsíců) psa – FOEHN DE LA CITE DU ROUVION (maj. - Isabelle Deglaire). V tomto kole Šiš udělala dvě chybičky, což pomohlo „mladému snaživci“ vyniknout a tak bylo o výsledku rozhodnuto. Majitelům vítěze gratulujeme!
Závěrem tedy už jen obligátní oslavná óda na naší Šiš … druhé místo v závodě (ze třinácti) a titul CACIL (třetí na třetím po sobě jdoucím závodě ve třetím státě) a vítězství v Club Elite Cup serii pro rok 2011, pyšnější snad ani nemůžeme být! A navíc i spokojenost s výkonem, který předvedli naše zbývající slečny. A Carewko? Ten splnil očekávání na něj kladená, dokončil závod se ctí na osmém místě, ale jako druhý nějlepší samec a stal se vítězem Club Elite Cup mezi kluky, gratulujeme!
A na úplný závěr ještě krátké zamyšlení věnované reportáži z letošního ME v Oirschotu uveřejněné v časopisu – Psí sporty, jejíž autorkou je Kristýna Pašková. Paní Pašková zde doslova uvádí, že „Úroveň výkonů na coursingu (rozuměj u barzojů) není zatím u nás příliš vysoká …“. Dovolím si s tímto tvrzením hluboce nesouhlasit. Je pravda, že jen málo českých majitelů barzojů jezdí závodit za hranice naší republiky, což je škoda. Pravdou ovšem taky zůstává, že například čtvrtá fena z letošního ME sice žije v Něměcku, ale je z českého chovu – CARIJA OD PODHORNIHO VRCHU (maj. – D. Kohl).
A teď ještě tohle – tři závody během čtrnácti dnů, dvě první a jedno druhé místo, 3x CACIL, 1x CACT, 1x CACL a 1x res-CACBL … a co je to za psa?

(EN) 13 hours behind the wheel on the way there and 12 on the way back ... a boring start and end of otherwise very successful weekend, which ended our private triathlon (three CACIL races in three countries over 14 days) ...
The aim of the tour was Amermont Belgium, where the final of this year’s Elite Club Cup was held. Our Šiš entered the final on first place with full points score. One other female came to the final out of all the nominees only.
This time, among other things, we did escort our friend Dana, which went as a judge (all breeds except Borzoi). We know the organizers of the race from our previous visits to the French to Laferte, and we like them much, after all, we were already drunk few bottles together ;) We were invited personally by the race director Paul Colley, therefore we could not refuse and, moreover, already mentioned the Elite Cup final took place here, so the visit was almost mandatory.
The organization of the race was handled entirely correctly. It can be seen that this team of people have already long-term practice, is experienced and very well coordinated. In addition, the hospitality with which we met was almost overwhelming. So thank you, for this really very much!
There is used so called - the hare endless, endless bait or "closed circuit" in these regions. We have learned that the FCI is planning to ban this method of dragging the bait because of its danger. Our personal experience is very positive. We attended 4 races, where this method dragging the lure is used. We have not encountered even a single injury caused by this way of bait dragging.
Now to the race itself ... The track was built as very technical and there were no much space for showing up the speed. The borzois came to start as first breed on Saturday due to the distribution of breeds among the two days. Overall, it was 13 individuals on the start (9 females and 4 males). The nominations for runs was done as follows – separated according to sex and alphabetical order for the first round and mixed according to continuous standings for the second round. Bri went to start as first of our girls together with her opponent, a bit older, but excellent female - UDACHA (owner - C Kolbasin & T. van den Brule). I know very well what Bri is able to demonstrate, I was almost thrilled this time, and it was a nice run. Then came turn for Kališ, she had an opponent of Czech origin - BOLODENKA OD PODHORNIHO VRCHU (owner - Erich & Barbara STEIDL-JANSEN). I was surprised by the speed of Bolodenka! Our Kališ tried to work on the pulleys, but when she found out that her opponent just runs away without much effort to work, so she began to run as well and this course looked more like just a race J And finally came to start our Šiš and - BELAIA DE L'HERMITAGE D'EOLE (owner - P. & I. Nevers-Rich). Šiš showed absolutely flawless work on the pulleys and did not give a chance to the opponent to show anything; she was like glued on the lure. This was ultimately judged as the best run of the first round and Šiš was rated as the best dog of the first round!
And just briefly from the second round ... to Šiš, continually evaluated on the first position, have been assigned as an opponent a young (eighteen months old) male dog - FOEHN DE LA CITE DU ROUVION (owner - Isabelle Deglaire). In this run Šiš made two small mistakes, which helped "young Trier" stand out and so was the outcome decided. Owner’s winner Congratulations!
In conclusion, therefore, only the obligatory celebratory ode to Šiš ... second position in the race (out of thirteen) and CACIL (third for the third consecutive race in the third State) and victory in Club Elite Cup series for 2011, we cannot be even prouder perhaps! Moreover, we are very satisfied by the performance, which showed the rest of our girls. And Carewko? He fulfilled the expectations put on him, finished the race with honor on eight position but second best male and became the winner of the Club Elite Cup among the males, congratulations!
And at the very end I would like to make a short reflection dedicated to coverage of this year's European Championship in Oirschot published in the journal - Dog Sports, whose author is Kristýna Pašková. Mrs. Pašek is literally states that "The level of performance on the coursing (read the borzoi) is still not high in our country ...." Let me profoundly disagree with this statement. It is true that only few Czech borzoi owners go for the race/coursing the border of our republic, which is a shame. But the truth is that for example, the fourth female in this year's European Championship, lives in Germany although but is from the Czech breed - CARIJA OD PODHORNIHO VRCHU (owner - D. Kohl).
And now this - three races in a fortnight, two first and one second place, 3 consecutive CACIL, 1x CACT, 1x CACL and 1x res-CACBL ... and what is the dogs name?
