(CZ) Na tento závod jsme se moc a moc těšili už dlouho dopředu. Ředitel závodu V. Holoch nás lákal už na ME a už takto dopředu vychvaloval, jak to bude zorganizované a co všechno, že zde bude …
Stručně řečeno, měl pravdu a musím uznat, že takto dobře připravený závod s takto „luxusním“ zázemím jsem letos snad ještě nezažil, tedy asi ano, ale prostě se tento zařadil do letošního TOP3. Hodně k tomu samozřejmě přispělo i počasí, které vyšlo prostě luxusně. Celý den svítilo sluníčko, pofukoval lehký větřík a teplota nepřesáhla 20°C, takže prostě ideální! Organizace šlapala jak na drátkách a technická závada čtyřkolky těsně před koncem a následné použití sekačky už prostě bylo jen úsměvnou tečkou za bezvadně stráveným dnem.
Závod nám tentokrát vyšel parádně i výsledkově, takže rozhodně budeme vzpomínat v dobrém! V kategorii Barzojů bylo na startu celkem 13 psů, z toho 9 fen. Konkurence nebyla silná jen počtem, ale i kvalitou. Zmíním alespoň Blagost Mraja (5. na posledním ME), Belátó Bella (loňský finalista MS v dostihu, několikanásobný vítěz CACIL coursingů) a v poslední době výborně běhající Paloma Fi-It (vítěz posledních dvou CZ závodů).
Trať byla dlouhá a technicky náročná, pro druhé kolo pak byla lehce zjednodušena a zkrácena. V prvním kole se s tratí nejlépe vypořádala naše Šiš, která byla průběžně hodnocena na prvním místě s náskokem 4 bodů. Smůlu si zde naopak vybrala Paloma, která doplatila na svou rychlost a menší zkušenost a díky zaběhnutí se, byla po prvním kole na předposledním místě mezi fenkami. Naše Kališ běžela právě s Palomou a moc nás potěšila, že se nerozeběhla za ní, ale poctivě odpracovala celou trať sama a předvedla krásný běh. Bri také poctivě odběhla celou trať, ale jejím výkonům chybí jiskra, nicméně i s ní, jsme samozřejmě spokojeni. Z našeho týmu měl tentokrát smůlu Carew, který běžel v prvním kole trojběh spolu s dalšími dvěma samci. Na startu byl jednoznačně nejrychlejší, na což bohužel také doplatil, protože hned na druhé kladce technické pasáže se netrefil mezi překážky a byl vyhozen do protisměru, kde ho návnada praštila přes nohy. To ho rozhodilo, zastavil a pak už jen sledoval, jak ostatní dva psy honí návnadu daleko na kopci. Sice se pak ještě rozběhl vstříc návnadě těsně před cílem, ale to bohužel nestačilo na kvalifikaci do kola druhého (jeden rozhodčí 40b, druhý nedoběh). Sítem prvního kola neprošel ještě Borya Mraja, který se zranil a byť první kolo dokončil a byl klasifikován, do kola druhého ho panička nepustila.
Do kola druhého tedy nastoupilo již jen 11 psů (9+2). V tomto kole již nedošlo k žádným neočekávaným zvratům a všichni závodníci předvedli to, co umějí a tak jak to umějí nejlépe. Paloma tentokrát nezmatkovala a tak se z předposledního místa mezi fenkami dostala na místo šesté. Šiš běžela proti průběžně druhé a nám více než dobře známé – Blagost Mraja. Obě předvedli perfektní a velmi vyrovnaný výkon a tak není divu, že v tomto kole byl mezi nimi bodový rozdíl o pouhý jeden bod pro Blagu, což ovšem v konečném součtu Šiš vůbec nevadilo a udržela si celkově první místo. Kališ běžela proti Belle a také předvedla super výkon a v tomto běhu Bellu porazila, což jí v celkovém součtu vyneslo na čtvrtou příčku právě před Bellu. Bri běžela tentokrát trojběh s Palomou a Annou Kareninou. V tomto běhu měla sice naše Bri nejlepší start ze všech třech, ale pak se již ujala vedení Paloma a po zbytek běhu dominovala jak rychlostí a nasazením, tak i obratností. Nicméně naše Bri rozhodně nezklamala a jsme s jejím výkon spokojeni.
Závěrem musím ještě jednou zkonstatovat, že závody byly uspořádány profesionálně a na úrovni a moc se nám zde líbilo. Toto a k tomu ještě perfektní počasí a skvělý výsledek znamená totální spokojenost. Na naší Šiš jsme hrdí!

Shortly, he was right and I must admit that I haven’t seen such a well prepared race with such a "luxury" facilities this year, perhaps yes, but this one is in this year's TOP3. Moreover, the weather turned out well and was just luxurious. All day sunshine, light breeze and the temperature does not exceed 20°C, simply perfect for such occasion! Organization of the race worked as clockwork and a technical fault of the quad shortly before the end and then the use mower, it was just a funny ending of perfectly spent day.
The race was perfect for us even with the results this time, so we'll definitely remember the good! There were 13 dogs of total and out of it 9 females in the Borzoi category at the start. The competition was strong not only in numbers, but in quality also. I will mention at least Blagost Mraja (5th on the last EC), Belátó Bella (last year's finalist of the racing WC, multiple winner of CACIL coursing) and recently very well running Paloma Fi-It (winner of the last two CZ coursings).
The track was long and technically difficult and it was slightly simplified and shortened for the second round. Our Šiš dealt best with the track in the first round and was evaluated on the first position with a 4 points lead. The bad luck took Paloma this time; she paid for her speed and less experience so she run out of the track, she was evaluated on the penultimate place among females after the first round. Our Kališ ran with just mentioned Paloma. We are pleased that she didn’t run after her, but honestly worked the whole track and showed a nice performance. Bri also fairly ran the entire track, but her performance lacks the spark, and even though we are obviously satisfied with her also. Carew was the only unlucky from our team this time, he ran triplet in the first round along with two other males. He was clearly the fastest at the start, but he unfortunately paid for it also, because he didn’t fit in between two obstacles just on the second pulley of the technical passages and found himself just in opposite direction against the lure which hit him to his legs . It disconcerts him; he stopped and then just watched the other two dogs chasing the lure on the far hill. Although he started to run again and chase the lure just before the finish line, but unfortunately it was not enough to qualify for the second round (one judge 40pts, the second judge DNF). Another one dog didn’t make it to the second round – Borya Mraja. He finished the first one and was classified also, but he got injured and though his owner didn’t let him start the second round.
Thus, 11 dogs (9+2) made it to the second round. There were any unexpected twists in the second round and all the competitors showed what they can do and how they can do it best. Paloma didn’t panic and so she reached from penultimate to sixth position in final score among females. Šiš ran against very well known to us the second after first round - Blagost Mraja. Both of them showed excellent and very balanced performance and though no wonder that in this round was the difference between the two only one point for Blaga. Anyway, it was for Šiš still the first position in total sum. Kališ ran against Bella and showed great performance also. She beat Bella in this run, which gave her in total sum the fourth position just before Bella. Bri ran this time triplet against Paloma and Anna Karenina. Bri had the best start of all in this course, but then Paloma took the lead and dominated till the finish line in all aspects as speed, agility, enthusiasm and endurance. However, Bri didn’t disappoint us and we are satisfied with her performance.
Finally, I must state that the races were organized on high level of professionalism and we liked here. This plus even more perfect weather and a great result of our dogs is total satisfaction for us. We are proud of our Šiš!
