(CZ) Po roční odmlce jsme opět vyrazili na mistrovství Evropy v coursingu. Letos byl jeho dějištěm německý Pouch. Očekávání, co do organizace, byla veliká a to hlavně díky pověstné německé preciznosti. 

Ne ve všem se očekávání potvrdila, nicméně se domnívám, že lze konstatovat, že organizačně to bylo celé zvládnutá na úrovni. Opět se stalo, že někteří závodníci nezvládli dorazit včas na start, ale osobně to považuji za jejich selhání a nikoli za selhání organizátorů ve smyslu, že by všechno včas neoznámili.

Závodní tratě byly na sobotu připraveny tři a na neděli dokonce čtyři. Osobně si myslím, že jejich kvalita nebyla vždy stoprocentní, ale na druhou stranu všichni závodníci to měli stejné. Trošku mě však mrzí, že ne vždy byla návnada tahána pro všechny psy stejně. Někdy bylo vyloženě vidět, že tahač, ať již úmyslně, nebo díky vlastní neschopnosti, tahá návnadu zcela nekorektně.

Pokud jde o českou výpravu, byla letos druhá nejpočetnější ze všech výprav, samozřejmě po domácím Německu.  Velký díky patří českému teamleaderovi – Johaně Horákové, která se své úlohy zhostila na jedničku a skutečně se starala, aby nikdo nezmeškal a aby všichni měli potřebné informace. Prostě odvedla dobrou práci!

Naší smečku reprezentovala stálice Šiš a spolehlivá Kalinka. Obě předvedly standardní a solidní výkony v rámci jejich možností. Šiš, hlavně ve druhém kole, ze sebe vydala to nejlepší (také brassok). Rozhodčí to však viděli tak, jak to viděli a tak holky skončily na 20. místě Šiš a 40. místě Kalinka. S výsledky nejsem zcela spokojen, ale myslím, že za předvedené výkony se holky nemusí stydět!

(EN) We went to European championship in coursing after one year break once again. This year was the host Pouch Germany. Great and perfect organization was expected mainly due to known and legendary German precision.

Not at all the expectations were met, but I think, we can say that organizationally it was all mastered well. It happened again that some competitors didn’t arrive for the start on time, but personally I consider it as their failure, not a failure of the organizers in the sense that everything was announced correctly and on time.

There were three tracks ready for Saturday and four for Sunday.Personally, I think that the quality was not perfect, but on the other hand, all competitors had the same conditions … almost. What disappoints me is the fact that the lure was not dragged for all the dogs the same way. It was evident that the lure master pulled the lure completely incorrectly and no matter whether it was intentionally or due to his incompetence.

Speaking about Czech team, I am proud that we were the second largest equip, just after the Germans. Big thanks should goes to the Czech team leader – Johana Horáková. She acted in her role very honestly and she really cared for everyone not to miss the start of the run or to receive all necessary information on time. She simply did a great job!

Our pack was represented by our star Šiš and reliable Kalinka. Both showed standard and solid performance within their capabilities. Šis did hers best mainly in the second round (brassok also). However, the referees had different opinion and thus the girls were finally evaluated on 20th position for Šiš and 40th for Kalinka out of total 46 females. I am not satisfied with the results but I do think that girls should not be ashamed of the performance they showed.
