(CZ) Tak a je to tady … teda bylo … poslední závod sezony – SOFA DOG WEAR CUP. Po skoro měsíční pauze způsobené háráním a únavou z předchozího náročného programu jsme se už moc těšili na naše známé soupeře, které máme rádi. Nahlášená účast slibovala skvělé výkony a krásný zážitek.
Rozhodně jsme nebyli zklamáni, ani výsledkově (i když jsme neměli žádná velká očekávání) a ani celkovou atmosférou a úrovní organizace. Je pravdou, že na začátku došlo k malému zdržení a i díky tomu běželi poslední tři běhy za šera (Deerhound), ale závodníci to zvládli a tak nelze než konstatovat, že akce proběhla po organizační stránce dobře. Tradiční příjemné prostředí u chaty Maxe Švabinského a vydařené počasí jen podtrhlo skvělou atmosféru závodu.
V kategorii Barzojů startovalo 9 fen a 3 psi a tak se běželo o dva CACTy a pak zde byla ještě jedna fenka, plnící si licenci. Dle jmen nahlášených závodníků to bylo vlastně Nijinski Balet proti zbytku českého barzojova :). Na startu byli všichni největší favorité posledních českých závodů, zmíním – Paloma Fi-It, Bohemia Nijinski Balet, Balerina Nijinski Balet a samozřejmě naše Felicity Esme Silent Enigma a Calligenia Royal Lily. V našem týmu chyběla kvůli hárání Bri a naopak si zde odbyla svůj vůbec první závod Žofka (Zufa Cenva Krylov).
Krátce k průběhu prvního kola barzojů … Jako první běželi trojběh samci. A pak již přišla řada na holky. Z našich šla první na start Kališ proti Bohemii NB. Kališ se snažila a skoro celou dobu jasně dominovala, v půli trati však soupeřka ztratila návnadu a naše Kališ naštěstí dál pokračovala v tom, co měla dělat. Soupeřka pak návnadu našla a tak se dostala hodně dopředu před Kališ. Takový náskok však již nebylo možné dohnat a tak Kališ doběhla, až když už byla návnada ve spárech Boby. Avšak díky poctivé práci, odvedené po většinu trati, byla obodována lépe. Dále šla na start Žofka proti Balerině NB. Bylo jasně vidět, že to pro ni byl první ostrý závod a že je stále ještě mladá a potřebuje sbírat zkušenosti, přesto však předvedla velké nasazení a snahu za což jsme moc rádi. A jako poslední přišla řada na Šiš, jejíž soupeřkou pro toto kola byla mlaďounká ruská fenka plnící si licenci – Zelda Onezhskaya. Šiš předvedla standardní výkon, bylo však vidět, že se trochu šetřila. Nejhezčí běh tohoto kola byl tak dle mého soudu a dle bodového přídělu i soudu rozhodčích, běh Palomy proti Capriola NB.
Do druhého kola vstupovali naše holky na průběžném třetím – Šiš, čtvrtém – Žofa a pátém – Kališ. Druhé kolo jako takové nepřineslo žádné nečekané zvraty. Pořadí po prvním kole tak zůstalo i jako konečné jen se změnou na čtvrtém a pátém místě, kde se naše holky prohodili. Paloma opět předvedla výborný výkon a prokázala, že coursingový vítěz pro rok 2011 je v dobrých tlapkách.
(EN) So it is here ... or was … the last race of the season - SOFA DOG WEAR CUP. We were looking forward to meet our well-known opponents, which we love after nearly a month long break caused by being on heat and exhaustion from previous demanding program. Reported participation promised great performances and wonderful experience.
We definitely were not disappointed, nor with the results (although we had no great expectations) nor with the overall atmosphere and level of organization. It is true that there was a short delay on the beginning which caused that the last three runs of Deerhounds took place at dusk, but the racers finished without any problems and so it can be stated that the event went was organized well. Traditional and pleasant environment at Max Švabinský cottage and beautiful weather only highlighted the great atmosphere of the race.
There were 9 females and 3 males and one another female for license run on the start. This number was sufficient for awarding CACT in both categories for males and females as well. It was actually Nijinsky Balet against the rest of Czech borzois according to the names of racers reported :). There were all the favorite racers of last Czech coursings on the start, I will mention - Paloma Fi-It, Bohemia Nijinski Ballet, Ballerina Nijinski Ballet and of course our Felicity Esme Silent Enigma and Calligenia Royal Lily. Bri was missing in our team due to being on heat this time and opposite of it we took Žofka (Zufa Cenva Krylov) for her very first race.
Briefly to the first round ... The first borzoi run was males triple. And then the girls came. Kališ against Bohemia NB was the first run for our team. Kališ did well and dominated almost half of the track but then the rival lost the lure, fortunately Kališ continued with what she did so far. Then the rival found it again but it got her far ahead of our Kališ. This lead was so big that it was not possible for our Kališ to cut it anyhow, so she came to finish once the lure was already in the Bobas clutches. But Kališ was scored better due to the honest work done for the most of the track. Žofka was the second who went to start from our team and her opponent was Ballerina NB. It could been clearly seen that for her it was the first sharp race and that she is still young and needs to gain more experience, but she showed great commitment and effort still for which we are very happy. And finally came the turn for Šis, who’s rival for this run was very young Russian girl running for license - Zelda Onezhskaya. Šis showed the standard performance, but it was seen that she saved herself a bit. The best course of this round was, in my opinion as well as according to the point allocation and judge’s decision, run of Paloma against Capriola NB.
Our girls entered the second round on third – Šiš, fourth – Žofka and fifth – Kališ running score. The second round, as such, did not bring any unexpected twists. In fact thethe first round running results remained as the final results with one exception – our girls on fourth and fifth position switched. Paloma demonstrated excellent performance once again and showed that Czech coursing winner for 2011 is in good paws.
