10.3.2013 - Schrick (A) - CACIL

(CZ) První coursing letošního roku jsme absolvovali sice již před dvěma měsíci na sněžném coursingu na Sněžníku v Čechách, ale jako první závod sezony, můžeme považovat CACIL coursing v rakouském Schricku.

Během celé loňské sezony jsme do Rakouska nezavítali a na tomto konkrétním místě jsme ještě nebyli vůbec, takže jsme se těšili na nové zážitky. Mohu konstatovat, že jsme rozhodně nebyli zklamáni a naše očekávání byla více než mnohonásobně překonána.

Do závodu bylo původně přihlášeno 14 psů a fen mezi Barzoji. Nakonec však účast někteří zrušili z různých důvodů a tak se u přejímky objevilo jen 11 jedinců – 3 psi a 8 fen. Běhal se tedy mix o jeden CACIL. Nevím, jaký přesně klíč použili pořadatelé pro nasazení do jednotlivých běhů, ale ani to nepovažuji za podstatné. My jsme měli sebou dvě holky – naší stálici Šišku a poctivě pracující Kalinku.

Závod jako takový, byl organizován zcela s přehledem bez jakýchkoli závažných nedostatků. Zázemí, byť nebylo luxusní, přesto obsahovalo vše co je třeba a v míře naprosto dostačující, tudíž také naprostá spokojenost. Jediné drobné problémy byly s technikou, resp. trhajícím se lankem návnady, ale i toto pořadatelé zvládali a vše se stihlo odběhnout za světla. Louka a trať na ní postavená, se mi líbila velmi. Byla i divácky atraktivní a přehledná. Přitom všem, ale nebyla rozhodně krátká, nebo plochá. Terén měl tvar hodně otevřeného V a kladky byly postaveny tak, že to nebyl ani oblouk, ale ani nepřehledná změť zákrut a kladek – prostě tak akorát. Počasí také vyšlo, a i když ráno louku halila hustá mlha, přesto vše vyšlo a pro psy bylo naprosto ideální běhací počasí.

V prvním kole byla Šiš nasazena proti dalšímu českému zástupci, kvalitnímu Brigardovi z Palatinu. Kalinka také měla za soupeře psa a to vynikajícího Dober-Kopp Africa Express. Obě naše holky první rozběhy zvládly na výbornou. A rozběh Šiš s Brigardem byl i nejlépe bodově ohodnocený a skvěle vyváženy rozběh. Oba předvedli výborný výkon a dobrou spolupráci. Oproti tomu rozběh Kalinky a Afriky byl poněkud zmatkovitý. V tomto rozběhu si Africa vybral zřejmě slabší chvilku a naše Kalinka tak dostala velmi slušné bodové ohodnocení. Nejvíce asi zazářil Darshan z Palatinu, který měl proti sobě postavenu Balerinu Nijinksi Ballet. V tomto běhu bylo vidět, že někteří jedinci po zimě prostě nemají kondici. Balerina zhruba po půlce trati začala výrazně ztrácet a do cíle už jen doklusala. Darshan oproti tomu dravě proběhl cílovou rovinkou a ukořistil návnadu. Bohužel jsme se až později dozvěděli, že se Brigard během tohoto prvního kola zranil a nemůže tak pokračovat. Naštěstí nejde o nic vážného a brzy bude zpět …

Do druhého kola byla Šiš nasazena proti průběžně prvnímu v pořadí a to mladičkému a šikovnému Darshanovi z Palatinu. Kalinka pak, stejně jako v prvním kole, proti Africovi. Nejprve šla na start Kalinka a Africa. Bohužel se hned po cca 100 metrech přetrhlo lanko. Rozhodčí dali pokyn k opakovanému startu z místa přerušení. Přestože se naše Kalinka snažila a závod měla nadějně rozběhnutý, nakonec se jí nezadařilo, Africa jí asi od poloviny trati již jasně utíkal a Kalinka to prostě vzdala a do cíle dokráčela. Šiš měla závod také více než dobře rozběhnutý a za svým soupeřem zaostávala jen o pouhý jediný bod. Tento běh byl také velmi solidní. Bylo vidět, jak musí Šiš dát do svého výkonu co jen dokáže, aby byla schopna udržet se vepředu. Darshan svojí dravostí se na Šiš neustále dotahoval. To, co tento běh rozhodlo, byly zkušenosti, které naše Šiš prostě má. Nicméně si myslím, že je Darshan velice nadějný. Ale abych řekl pravdu, nejvíce se mi ve druhém kole líbil běh zcela jiný – a to rozběh dvou holek Nijinských, Baleriny a Caprioly. Zhruba tři čtvrtiny trati běžely naprosto vyrovnaně a obě pěkně spolupracovaly. Těsně před cílovou rovinkou se však projevil již zmíněný nedostatek kondice a Balerina prostě zbytek trati vypustila a do cíle doklusala. Nicméně pro mne byl tento běh balzám …

K výkonům ostatních závodníků již jen krátce – Bastiens Usara předvedla solidní a standardní výkon, který ji vynesl čtvrté místo. Aloja Nova Fanfara nebyla zcela v kondici. A běh Yelena Spirit of the Tsar proti Hersillia vom Schloss Perchino byl poznamenán napadením hned na startu. Yelena i když rozhozená, přesto pokračovala, ale pak ji to přestalo bavit a zastavila.

Šiš po perfektním, i když zvláště ve druhém kole, upracovaném, výkonu vyhrála kategorii barzojů. Získala tak svůj první rakouský CACIL a rozšířila počet zemí ze kterých má tento titul a kde vyhrála závod ;) Další milé překvapení nás čekalo zcela na konci vyhlašovacího ceremoniálu, kdy byla Šiš vyhlášena ještě i nejlepší fenou dne! Prostě perfektní výsledek.

Celou akci hodnotím velmi pozitivně a to nejen díky skvělým výsledkům Šišky a faktu, že se nám nikdo nezranil, ale i díky už zmíněné dobré organizaci, dobrému počasí a pěknému terénu s tratí.

(EN) Our first this year coursing was almost two month ago snow coursing in czechia on Sněžník. But to consider as the first coursing of the season, it was this one in Schrick, Austria.

We haven’t visited Austria throughout the last season and moreover this place at all. Though, we were looking forward to new experiences. I can say that we were not disappointed certainly and our expectations were surpassed many times over.

There were registered 14 individuals in borzoi category for the race. However, few participants canceled their entry and though the registration procedure past 8 females and 3 males. So, the prize was one CACIL mixed. I do not know what key organizers choose for deployment to separate runs, but I do not consider it essential this time. We had two girls in the race - our star Šiška and honestly working Kalinka.

Race as such, was organized well and with ease without any serious shortcomings. Facilities, though not “luxurious”, had contained all that is necessary and to the extent absolutely sufficient level, therefore, also complete satisfaction. The only minor issues were with the technique, respectively ripping of the bait wire, but the organizers managed it well and everything was finished just before the sun-light came out. I like very much the meadow and track built on it. It was also attractive for attendees due to nice view to whole the track. The track was definitely nor short nor flat. The terrain was very open V shape and pulleys were built so that it was neither arch nor a patchwork of twists and pulleys - just enough. Weather was quite good, and even though the meadow was shrouded in dense morning fog, everything went well and it was absolutely perfect racing weather.

Šiš’s opponent for first round was another Czech representative, very good male Brigard z Palatinu. Kalinka’s rival was male also, excellent Dober-Kopp Africa Express. The first heat for both our girls coped very well. First heat of Šiš and Brigard was the best rated and well balanced run of first round. Both showed excellent performance and good cooperation. In contrast, the first heat of Kalinka and Africa was somehow chaotic. In this heat Africa chose the weaker moment apparently and though our Kalinka got a respectable score. But the one who flashed most in the first heat was Darshan z Palatinu, who’s opponent was Balerina Nijinksi Ballet. It was evidently seen in this one that some individuals simply don’t have good condition. Balerina started to lose in middle of the track and finish trotting only. In contrast, Darshan ravenously ran to finish and clinched the bait. We’ve been told later that Brigard got injury and though he can’t continue. Fortunately, it is not serious and he will be back soon...

Darshan z Palatinu, on the first ongoing position, was the opponent for our Šiš in the second round. Kalinka’s rival was the same as in the first heat – Africa. Unfortunately, during the heat of Kalinka and Africe, the wire got severed after about 100 meters and though the run stopped. The referee gave the instruction to re-start from the point of interruption. Although Kalinka started the race in good way, she was not the lucky one eventually. Africa took the lead in the middle of the track and Kalinka gave up and strode to finish. Šiš started the race pretty well also and she was only a single point after the leader and her direct rival Darschan. This run was also very good one. It was evident that Šiš had to put everything from within to performance to be able to keep in front and lead. Darshan with his ferocity made Šiš constantly under pressure. The aspect which made the difference and decided this run was experiences which Šiš definitely has. However, I think that Darshan is very promising. But to be honest, the most beautiful run of the second round was a different one - run of two girls Nijinsky, Balerinas and Capriola. Roughly three quarters of the track both ran perfectly balanced and cooperated together. Just before the finish line only, the already mentioned lack of fitness had showed and Balerina simply gave up the rest of the course and trotted to the finish. However, for me, this was the balm run...

Briefly few words to others - Bastiens Usara showed solid and standard performance that earned her fourth place. Aloja Nova Fanfara was not in good condition. First and the only heat of Yelena Spirit of the Tsar against Hersillia vom Schloss Perchino was affected by an attack on the very start. Yelena, although upset, she continued still, but then got bored and stopped.

Šiš with her perfect, although a bit weary performance in the second round, she won the borzoi category. She won her first Austrian CACIL and expanded the number of countries where she gain the title and has won a race ;) Another nice surprise came directly on the end of the ceremony. It was announced that Šiš is the best female of the day as well! Simply, it is perfect result.

My evaluation of the event is very positive. Not only because our Šiš who made excellent result, but due to mentioned good organization as well as fine weather and nice track and terrain. And the most important fact that no one from our dogs got hurt.
