(CZ) Stručně? Jeden z nejrozporuplnějších závodů sezony. Na tento závod jsme jeli hlavně kvůli faktu, že je součástí série Elite Trophy Cup, kterou loni ukořistila naše Šiš. Doufali jsme, že si zde vylepší pozici pro finálovou účast, což se potvrdilo, ale že to dopadne až takto … to jsme opravdu nečekali!

Závod měl být generálkou před ME, které by se zde mělo konat příští rok v červnu. Hned úvodem však musím konstatovat, že to byla generálka velmi nevydařená. Toto byl dobrý příklad toho, jak se to NEMÁ dělat … navíc po akci z minulého týdne, máme laťku nastavenu hooodně vysoko.  Je pravdou, že organizátory máme rádi a jsou nám sympatičtí, ale tohle se prostě nepovedlo. Zázemí zcela chybělo, kdo hledal toalety, musel do lesa. Stánek s občerstvením, ani náhodou, i když organizátoři uvařili alespoň domácí guláš ve velkém kotli. Pití, ale nebylo možné sehnat nikde, snad jedině v několik kilometrů vzdáleném Tescu. Vodu pro psy bylo možné nabrat na nedalekém statku ze žlabů pro dobytek. Sedliště jsem nějak nikde neviděl. A to je jen jedna kapitola … Problémy technického rázu, neschopný tahač návnady, třikrát přestavovaná trať a nakonec jen jedno odběhnuté kolo … i když ne, barzojové vlastně jako jediní odběhli dvě, ale hodnotilo se jen jedno ;) A tohle všechno se odehrálo na nejdražším evropském coursingu (30,-€ za každého psa!) … Ale dost kritiky, velmi dobře chápeme, že dva lidé, kteří se snaží, nejsou schopni takovou akci zvládnout, když ostatní jen přihlížejí. Emese, omluva přijata a možná nakonec zase přijedeme ;)

Nyní k samotnému průběhu závodu … Jako první běželi Afgháni, kteří spolu s Barzoji a Whipety běhali o titul CACIL, v ostatních plemenech nebylo dostatečně početné zastoupení. Po nich přišla na řadu naše smečka … Celkově se závodu účastnilo 6 jedinců, 4 feny a 2 psy a z toho navíc byli 4 naši ;) Takže kromě našich zde byl už jen pes - SZELLÖTÁNC ZAKIFI ESSO a fenka – BELÁTÓ BELLA. Do běhů byla nominace následující – Kališ x Bella, Bri x Car, Šiš x Esso. Jako první šli teda na start Kališ a Bella, běh to byl pohledný a těžko posoudit, která z nich byla lepší. Bella projevila více inteligence, Kališ zase více fixaci na návnadu … Po tomto běhu bylo oznámeno, že po doběhu Barzojů bude trať přestavena. Pak šli na start Car a Bri … oba dva ztratili návnadu, kvůli špatnému tahání návnady a i přesto, že se opravdu snažili jí najít, neměli šanci … malý střapec, který se nehýbe, prostě chrt nenajde. Rozhodčí rozhodli, že se tento běh bude opakovat po konci prvního kola. Pak přišla řada na Šiš a Essa. Situace se v podstatě opakovala a rozhodčí řekli to samé i o tomto běhu. První přestavba trati. Odběhali málo početná plemena a přišlo první zranění … Dva Magyar Agar se zranili v horní části na nevhodném terénu. Všichni organizátoři a někteří účastníci nastoupili na trať a začali sbírat ostré trny bodláků a další předměty povalující se na trati. To byl ovšem nadlidský úkol, takže došlo na druhou přestavbu trati. Konečný výsledek - plochý ovál s jednou velmi ostrou kladkou a dvěma dalšími simulujícími technickou pasáž a navíc velmi zkrácená trať oproti původní. Na této trati odběhali Whipeti a psy bez licencí a pak přišla řada na opakované běhy Barzojů. Nominace zůstala shodná. Vzhledem k tvaru a stavu trati ani nemá moc cenu popisovat, co jednotlivý psi dělali, nebo ne, takže v rychlosti – Car a Bri opět ztratili návnadu, ale tentokrát jí alespoň našli, i když Bri si neodpustila drobnou komickou vložku. Ostatní to prostě nějak dokončili a tak jsme ani neměli tušení, jak to rozhodčí posoudí a kdo jak dopadne.

A abych jen nekritizoval, musím na tomto místě i pochválit. Organizátoři připravili moc hezké ceny, které dostali všichni psi.

Výsledek byl pro nás velmi příjemným šokem! Šiš první a Kališ druhá … tohle jsme opravdu nečekali. Že Šiš porazí v Maďarsku, maďarskou fenu a navíc Bellu a ještě k tomu, že se jí to povede na dvou závodech hned po sobě … skoro neuvěřitelné. Šiš jde tedy do finále Elite Trophy s plným počtem bodů! Jeď, Šiško, jeď! :D Šiš zároveň tímto výsledkem splnila všechny podmínky pro udělení titulu mezinárodního dostihového šampiona.

(EN) Briefly? This was one of the most controversial races of the season. We went to this race mainly due to the fact that it is part of the Elite Trophy Cup series, which our Šiš captured last year. We hoped that she will improve the starting position for the finals. That’s what she did but how she did it … we didn’t expect!

The race should have been a rehearsal before the European Championship, which will be held here next year in June. I must say immediately that it was stillborn rehearsal. This was a good example of how NOT to do it ... In addition, after the event last week; our bar is set reeeally high. It is true that we like the organizers and they are sympathetic to us too, but this was simply wrong. The facilities was entirely missing, who looked for the toilet, had to go to the forest. Refreshment stands, no way, even though organizers cooked homemade stew in a large cauldron. Drinking, it was impossible to find anywhere, perhaps only a few miles away in Tesco. Water for dogs was for disposal at a nearby farm from troughs for cattle. Paddock, I didn’t saw it somehow. And this is just one chapter ... technical problems, incompetent lure operator, three times rebuilt track and finally only one round runs ... not completely true, actually borzois ran two rounds, but rated was only one;) And all this happened on the most expensive coursing in Europe (30,-€ for each dog) ... But enough of criticism, we understand very well that two people, who are trying, are unable to handle such an event, when others are watching only. Emese, apology accepted and we will come back eventually ;)

Now to the race itself ... The first went to the start Afghans, whom along with Borzois and Whipets ran for CACIL because there were not sufficiently numerous representations in the other breeds. After them came our pack to the start ... Overall, there were 6 individuals, 4 females and 2 males and out of it were 4 ours ;) So, in addition, without ours there was only one other male ​​- SZELLÖTÁNC ZAKIFI ESSO and one female – BELÁTÓ BELLA. The nominations for runs was as following - Kališ x Bella, Bri x Car, Šiš x Esso. First went to start Kališ and Bella, the run was quite nice but it is difficult to decide who was better. Bella showed more intelligence, Kališ fixation for the bait ... It was reported that after the Borzois finish their runs the track will be rebuilt. Then Car and Bri went to start ... both lost the bait, due to the fact that the lure operator was really poor and even though they really tried to find it, they had no chance ... a small tassel, which does not move, no chance for sighthound to find it. The referees decided that this course will be repeated after the end of the first round. Then Šiš and Esso came. The situation repeated essentially and the referees said the same as for previous run. The first reconstruction of the track came. Few numerous breeds ran and first injuries came ... Two Magyar Agar were injured at the top part of the track because of the unsuitable terrain. All the organizers and some participants went to the track and began to collect sharp thistles thorns and other objects which were lying on the track. This was a superhuman task, so the second rebuilding of the track came. The final result was - a flat oval with one very sharp pulley and two other pulleys simulating the technical passage and also very shorted compared to the original track. Whipets and dogs without a license ran their runs on this track and then came the turn for the repeated Borzois runs finally. Nominations remain the same. It is nonsense to describe details of what the dogs done on the track because of the track shape and very short distance, so just quickly - Car and Bri again lost the bait, but at least this time they found it, even though Bri didn’t forgave to show a little comic interlude. Others just finished somehow and we had no idea how the judges will decide and who wins.

And not only to criticize, I must praise also at this place a bit. The organizers prepared very nice awards, given to all dogs.

The result was a very pleasant shock for us! Šiš first and Kališ second... what we really did not expected. That Šiš beat a Hungarian bitch in Hungary and moreover that it is Bella and also that Šiš beat her twice in a row ... almost unbelievable. Šiš goes for the Elite Trophy finals with full points score! Go, Šiš, go! :D With this result, Šiš met all the conditions for gaining the title international race champion also.
